Spirit Student of the Month
ALYSSA PAPEN
Alyssa Christine Papen is GTR’s Spirit Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Donna and Kevin Papen. She has enjoyed being involved in Union cheer for a total of six years. For four consecutive years, Papen was selected as a member of the Varsity State Cheerleading Squad and took the state title in 2007.
She has also been awarded the NCA National and Grand National titles in consecutive years. During Papen’s senior year, she was selected as a UCA All-American team member and continued on to the All State Cheerleading Squad where she placed in the top three.
