Tulsa Public Schools is seeking a new athletic director in the wake of Stephanie Spring’s resignation on Friday, Jan. 20.
According to Kevin Burr, associate superintendent of secondary schools, an advisory group has been appointed to scout the best prospects and narrow the field. “We are confident this position will attract many highly-qualified and well-regarded candidates,” said Burr. “TPS has earned a reputation for excellence and high expectations in all fields, including athletics. We are eager to open the door to a new chapter of continued excellence and success in athletics.”

This summer, TFA will partner with TPS and Community Action Project (CAP) to run a rigorous academic summer program for over 3,000 children in Tulsa.
