Annual Owasso Economic Summit Impresses

The City of Owasso recently hosted the 2010 Owasso Economic Summit at the Bailey Education Foundation at the Bailey Medical Center in Owasso. This is the second year for the event and it was welcomed with appreciation by area residents and business leaders.

Dominance is Tradition for Owasso

The Rams won State last season. It was their 12th trip to the finals in 13 years, 3rd championship in a row and 6th since 2001. Owasso opened the season with a 15-3 win over Muskogee on 14 hits, making a strong statement that the team has very serious plans to take their 4th crown in a row.

Owasso Band Entertains with Unique Performance

The Owasso Garbage Band’s recent performance during the C-USA Tournament surprised the crowd with remarkable talent. By way of strange instruments, the band’s sound is unique and creative.

P & K Equipment in Owasso is hosting a Drive Green Tractor Experience Event, March 23 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 11518 E. 66th Street. The event will give rural property owners, farmers and ranchers and other interested consumers a chance to ride-and-drive and ask questions about the latest models of utility tractors available from John Deere.

National Signing Day was action packed and Joy filled at Owasso High School as athletes signed letters of intent with their families, coaches and friends joined in for support.
