Expectations are High for Former Rams Colvin, Webb

Offensive lineman Brandon Webb was one of the top players in Oklahoma as a senior at Owasso. He is a redshirt freshman at Oklahoma State with scout team experience on a young squad. Webb is participating in fall camp and is expected to get quality playing time.

A SuperPrep All-American and a participant in the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Game, Webb was a Tom Lemming All-American, rated by SuperPrep as the No. 8 prospect in the Midlands region. Rivals ranked him No. 5 in Oklahoma and No. 18 nationally among guard prospects.

Webb was an all-state selection each of his last two seasons by The Oklahoman and Tulsa World. He participated in track and basketball as well as football at Owasso.

Defensive back Aaron Colvin is participating in Oklahoma’s fall camp. He was a three-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals.com and Scout.com and was named all-region by PrepStar. He recorded 72 tackles, two interceptions while breaking up 10 passes and scoring five touchdowns in 2009.

Both the Tulsa World and The Oklahoman recognized the touted freshman as first team All-Stater for his efforts in 2009. Colvin was the district 6A-4 defensive player of the year and first team Tulsa World All-Metro in 2009.

Further accolades include: No. 5 player in Oklahoma (Scout.com), No. 11 player in Oklahoma (Rivals.com), No. 29 cornerback (Scout.com) and the No. 31 cornerback (Rivals.com).

Colvin is listed as 5’11” at 176 lbs. He will certainly be in the mix for the Sooners young defense.
