P & K Equipment to Host Event

P & K Equipment in Owasso is hosting a Drive Green Tractor Experience Event, March 23 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 11518 E. 66th Street. The event will give rural property owners, farmers and ranchers and other interested consumers a chance to ride-and-drive and ask questions about the latest models of utility tractors available from John Deere.

The Owasso Drive Green Tractor Experience is one of many events across the nation and features a 1970 John Deere 4020 Tractor customized by legendary designer Chip Foose. The company’s utility tractors and the custom 4020 are transported to all the events in a uniquely detailed semi-tractor and trailer. John Deere dealer representatives will be on hand to demonstrate the equipment and answer questions. In addition, participants at the Drive Green Experience Event can register to win the customized John Deere 4020 Tractor.

Randal Bobbitt, store manager at P & K Equipment says the dealership is excited to be hosting the Drive Green event with the Foose-customized 4020. Many people have lots of questions about the type, size, features and operation of the equipment they need to maintain their properties and this is a great way to get the information first hand.

“The Drive Green Tractor Experience Events are designed to provide people who many not be familiar with utility tractors and other equipment a chance to check out the equipment for themselves, operate it and learn more about the features, maintenance, attachments and other aspects of equipment ownership,” he adds. “With the Drive Green Tractor Experience semi-truck and trailer and the special Chip Foose-customized classic John Deere 4020 tractor, we want to make it a fun and informative experience for everyone.”
