Jog-A-Thon Benefits Jenks Third Grader

RAISING HOPE: Recently, sixth grade student members of the East Intermediate’s Student Service Organization (EISSO) hosted a Jog-A-Thon benefitting the family of Jenks Southeast third-grader, Truman Hedrick, who is battling cancer. Attendance was fabulous and the students met and exceeded their goal, raising $12,686.83 after expenses were paid, to give to the family to assist with the costs the Hedrick’s are incurring.

EISSO students would like to thank everyone who donated auction items, volunteered their time or simply came to the event to show their support. From left, Shawna Long, Sponsor Chere’ Sammons, Kimberly Hedrick, Elliett Kulkin and Landes Wiscaver.
