Dress for Success Shaping Up


FASHIONABLE CITIZENS: The Dress for Success Annual Fashion Show and Auction will be held Sept. 24. Dress for Success Tulsa, a not-for-profit organization located at 1109 S. Peoria Ave., announces its Annual Fashion Show and Auction, “Step Up To Success” on Friday, Sept. 24 at Greenwood Cultural Center, 322 N. Greenwood Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a silent auction, wine, hors d’oeuvres, and a wide array of food selections presented by Chef Mark Michalski and Tulsa area restaurants.

Chera Kimiko, anchor from Fox 23 will be the evening’s emcee. Tulsa area businessmen and women representing 12 companies will be modeling the latest fashions and accessories from Saks Fifth Avenue.

Colleen Payne-Nabors, accomplished entrepreneur, author and public speaker will serve as the evening’s keynote speaker. The event will also include a host of live and silent auction items.

The Mission of Dress for Success Tulsa is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional business attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life. Dress for Success Tulsa has extended its services to over 1200 women this past year and since its inception in 2001, has served thousands of women in the Tulsa and surrounding communities statewide.

Tax- deductible table sponsorships are available. Individual tickets are $60 per person.
