Drillers Vie for North Crown

The Texas League North division is in a tight rice for the crown and the Drillers are in the thick of it. After a slow first half, the team has returned from the All-Star break with a purpose.

A playoff bid is in Tulsa’s sights and with the team hitting the way they have been, there’s a good chance they’ll make it.

Catcher Wilin Rosario is on the DL and his replacement, Jordan Pacheco has stepped in and is playing as well as anyone. Through his first seven games, Pacheco hit at or better than .300.

Warren Schaefer has been instrumental on the defensive end. He is somewhat of a utility infielder, switching positions and making stops wherever he goes. His photo above shows him turning a double play from short stop.
