KSBI/ThunderTV Announces Their 2009 High School Football Lineup

KSBI-DT the new THUNDER TV announced the 2009 Integris Health Game of the Week lineup. Thunder TV will be producing and telecasting 16 high school football games this season. The schedule includes games ranging from class 2A to class 6A. Cities featured will include rural and metro areas as far south as Ardmore, Oklahoma.

“Once again, with the assistance of Integris Health and our other corporate sponsors, we are pleased to be offering the greatest coverage area for high school football games than at any other time in the history of Oklahoma broadcasting,” said Brady Brus, KSBI/Thunder TV President and General Manager. “Over the past year, our already unmatched footprint has grown even larger by Thunder TV being added to the DirecTV line up in the Tulsa market. There hasn’t been a time in the history of Oklahoma broadcasting when this many games have been featured in the regular season reaching as many people as we do.”

KSBI/Thunder TV has once again chosen to air marquee matchups from small and large school classes and from rural and metro communities. “I think we are unique in that we don’t just offer a handful of Tulsa teams and Edmond teams as others have in the past,” said Brus. “We have some unbelievable matchups. These communities are so gracious and excited when we roll our production truck into town.”

As with all of KSBI-DT’s programming, the Integris Game of the Week will be televised on KSBI/Thunder TV, which can be seen in Oklahoma City on COX Ch. 15, Cox Ch. 215, COX HD Ch. 715, DirecTV Ch. 52, DISH Network Ch. 52, AT&T U-verse Ch. 52, over the air on KSBI-DT and on cable and satellite outlets across the state of Oklahoma, including DirecTV in the Tulsa market. KSBI-DT’s signal also extends into the Wichita and Wichita Falls areas through the station’s translator network. KSBI-TV/DT has the largest broadcast footprint of any commercial station in the state of Oklahoma.

Robert Allen, Coach Bob Cortese, and Chris Johnson will once again handle play by play and color commentating roles along with Thunder TV’s sports staff. Prior to each game, Thunder TV’s newscast will be televised LIVE form the stadium with a thirty minute Tailgate Show prior to Kickoff.
