Andy B’s held its grand opening June 19 of a new family entertainment center located in the former Riverlanes building, 8711 S. Lewis Ave.
Tulsans who frequented Riverlanes for bowling might not recognize the place. The facility has undergone an extreme makeover with new high tech “boutique” lanes beneath a 100-foot wide music video display and high quality, upholstered seating in the lane areas. These are known as the “VIB” (Very Important Bowler) lanes. Two private bowling suites can accommodate up to 20 people. A 4,000-square-foot game room features 45 of the latest and greatest video and redemption games.
Also added is an indoor go-kart track that will please any member of the family with single-seaters, double-seaters and even scaled-down versions for the younger family members. For parties, business meetings, receptions and family gatherings, Andy B’s has private party rooms, a large banquet or meeting room with an elevated stage that is currently being fitted with computer-compatible audio and video equipment with projection capabilities, a full-service bar, upgraded food service and on-site catering from a broad menu.
The grand opening featured free bowling, games, prizes and special guests to ensure a fun experience for all. There was also a special VIP reception.
Owner Andy Bartholomy operates seven other facilities in Tennessee, Missouri and Oklahoma, but this is his first one designed to be a family fun destination and entertainment center.
Andy B’s is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday 9-2 a.m. and Sunday 12 p.m.-12 a.m. General Manager Sharon Mooney is always delighted to show off the beautifully renovated facilities with a quick tour.
