Up With Trees held its annual Arbor Day Banquet April 7. The banquet is Up With Trees single largest fundraiser each year. Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor and her husband Bill Lobeck (center) served as the 2008 honorary chairs for the event.
During the evening, Mayor Taylor shared the latest updates on ReGreen Tulsa, an effort to plant 20,000 trees by 2010, and unveiled a bronze statue created by Rosalind cook to Honor Up With Trees founder Sid Patterson, left. Also pictured is Up With Trees Executive Director Anna America.
