City Offices Closed for MLK Jr. Day

City Hall and other City offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the City’s 24-hour emergency number, 596-9488.

Residential refuse, recycling, yard waste and bulky waste will be collected on Monday according to the regular schedule.

The City of Tulsa green waste site at 10401 E. 56th St. North will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21. It will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 22, to resume its normal schedule of seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. except for City holidays.

Tulsa Parks offices and recreation centers will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21. The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave. also will be closed on Monday. The shelter’s usual schedule is noon to 5 p.m. on Mondays, noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The shelter is closed on Sundays.

Mohawk Park Golf Course and Page Belcher Golf Course, as well as the Tulsa Zoo, will be open on Monday. Gilcrease Museum will be closed, according to its usual schedule. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center will be closed, but the PAC’s Third Street ticket office will be open 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Tulsa Transit will operate bus service on Monday, Jan. 21.
