Leadership Broken Arrow Welcomes Applicants
The Leadership Broken Arrow program, sponsored by the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce with the support of local government, civic and service organizations, is recruiting applicants for the 2010-2011 class. This program affords participants a unique awareness of Broken Arrow, past, present and future, and an appreciation for how their own unique leadership skills and talents might satisfy the demands of this growing community. Graduates of the LBA program are in a position to influence the future of Broken Arrow through their community involvement.
Leadership Broken Arrow consists of 9 full day sessions, one per month, September through May. Classes are typically conducted from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on the first or second Thursday of each month. Classes feature guest lectures, experts in their respective fields, local area tours, visits to places with important community missions, leadership training, classroom participation, and an opportunity to network with other civic minded individuals.
