Good Samaritans Honored
CITIZEN ANGELS: Clint Walden of Broken Arrow created the Angel Bear Christmas Campaign. The campaign gives special awards called the “Angel Bear Honors” that are given annually to persons who have been especially good Samaritans over the year.
The 2009 Angel Bear recipients are Gregg Graham, Dr. Clarence Oliver, Jerry Ferguson, Kal Desai, Danny Williams, Falia Rice, Richard Sampson, Robert and Margret Wagner, Mike Kirk, Jane Langston, U.S. Marines Toys for Tots, B.A. Optimists Club, Rosita Martin and Danny Burton. In addition, the B.A. Police Dept. was given stuffed bears from Good Bears of the World as thanks to their service.
