BA PAC Grand Opening in Planning Stage
A committee made up of BA School District personnel and community members has begun meeting at the new Broken Arrow Public Schools Performing Arts Center to plan a Grand Opening Gala for the new venue that will soon be fully operational for school and community events and activities.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Gary Gerber is chairperson for the committee with Dr. Ed Huckeby of NSU-BA serving as co-chairperson.
Initial plans call for grand opening activities to occur in September or October.
Dr. Gerber says the committee is working to determine the best type of format and approach for the official grand opening festivities for the facility made possible by voters’ approval of the 2004 and 2006 Broken Arrow School Bond Election.
