BA Basketball Finishes with Eyes Forward
DANIEL C. CAMERON for Broken Arrow Express
The Broken Arrow Tigers varsity basketball squad opened the season as hot as anyone around, but cooled off very quickly. This is a very good team and it is hard as an outsider to put a finger on any one thing that caused the season to change.
An important to recognize that the level of talent returning next fall is extremely high. With Jenks graduating Doug McKnight, Bryson Pope and Brian Brookey and Union Graduating Tracy Moore, Howard Scarborough, Sterling Ballard and Levi Giese, the Tulsa metropolitan area looks to be wide open for BA. Especially with Jake Toupal and Marnard Grant returning.
This writer’s advice to the Tigers is to stay strong and play often in the off-season. Look for Broken Arrow to dominate next year.
